Shorelines IV

Shorelines is a series of smaller works on paper showcasing a more immediate response to my environment. There is a feeling of the ever-changing sea and its interaction with the shoreline, be that rocks or cliffs, pebbles, or sandy places. There are intuitive, gestural marks that hint at a birds’ eye view, similar to a map with contour lines and the patchwork pattern of the fields. These works are made using acrylic paint, charcoal, pastels.
Each of these works is set off by a white mount. Including this mount, each one measures 24cm x 24cm.
